The attention of the Company has been drawn to reports circulating on various social media platforms with regard to certain fraudulent individuals allegedly issuing fake contract/procurement award letters to unsuspecting members of the public. These individuals use fake letterheads, forged signatures, and fictitious names purported to be those of some senior staff of BUA Cement Plc.
Please note that BUA Cement Plc's contract/procurement award letters are prepared on our approved stationaries and signed by the relevant authorised persons. Kindly also note that under no circumstances whatsoever will BUA Cement demand payment in any form from anyone before the award of any contracts whatsoever.
BUA Cement Plc shall, therefore, not be liable for any loss(es) or damages incurred by any individual or corporate entity that may fall prey to such fraudulent acts.
