Star prize of 4 cars will be won by participating consumers through scratch cards inserted in cement bags during the promotional period. The remaining sixteen contestants during the raffle draw will go home with 1 Million Naira cash each. This scratch card will indicate that the consumer is qualified to participate in the raffle draw which will produce 4 lucky winners.

Star prize winners: the following will be required from the star prize winners:

• Govt issued photo identification card
• And a valid driver’s license

Star prize will be redeemed within a maximum of 7 days after the raffle draw event. Should the winner be unable to attend the event, the gift will still be available (consistent with NLA 2005 on prize redemption) for a maximum of 180 days.

1. This BUA Cement (“Promoter”) promotion is open to all Nigerians aged eighteen (18) and above (“Participants”), except the Promoter’s employees, any firm (their employees) or individual professionally involved in this Promotion. This Promotion will run from 1st August – October 31st 2023.
2. The promotion is a National promotion (North, East, South and West) and is restricted to BUA cement brands.
3. To enter the promotion, Participants must buy BUA cement from any retail shop.
4. Each cement bag may contain a securitized scratch card. Upon purchase of the cement bag, Participants shall open the bag to find such scratch card and in it reveals what is won by the Participants.
5. Only the airtime can be redeemed instantly. All the other items won are redeemed on weekly basis through the designated redemption centers nationwide with the exceptions of star prizes that must go through validation before they are redeemed at a designated venue and day communicated to the winners in advance.
6. By entering this promotion, the Participants grant BUA Cement, the permission to contact them for future promotions via their respective telephone numbers registered during the promotion.
7. All entries and rewards will be validated by a representative from the National Lottery Regulatory Commission and the Consumer Protection Council to ensure authenticity.
8. This promotion will be communicated via Television, Radio, Social-Media, Posters, and Banners.
9. This promotion is approved by the National Lottery Regulatory Commission (NLRC).
10. The Promoter, subject to the approval of the National Lottery Regulatory Commission, reserves the right to withdraw or amend this Promotion in the event of any unforeseen circumstances outside its reasonable control.
11. The Promoter, subject to the approval of the National Lottery Regulatory Commission, reserves the right to terminate or temporarily suspend this promotion in the event of technical or other difficulties that might compromise its integrity.
12. By taking part in this promotion, Participants accept and agree to abide by the terms and conditions and other rules guiding the promotion.
13. The Promoter shall, with the approval of the National Lottery Regulatory Commission, reserves the right to exclude any claims that it reasonably believes to be fraudulent or based on misconduct. The Promoter shall take such decision at its sole discretion. The decision of the Promoter shall be final and no correspondence shall be entered therein.
14. In the event of any dispute regarding the conduct or results of the Promotion, or these terms and conditions, or any other matter relating to the Promotion, such dispute will be first submitted to the National Lottery Regulatory Commission (the Commission) for arbitration and if either the Promoter or Participant is dissatisfied with the decision of the Commission, recourse shall be made to any competent court with jurisdiction.
15. Neither the Promoter nor any of her respective media and PR agencies, nor their trading partners shall be liable in any way whatsoever for any loss, damage or costs, howsoever arising, suffered by any Participant as a result of this Promotion.
16. This promotion and these terms are governed by Nigerian Law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Nigerian Courts.
17. By participating in this Promotion, Participants are deemed to have; a) consented to the collection and use of their personal data, b) accepted the Promoter’s Data Privacy Policy and these terms and conditions. A Participant’s personal data (including phone number, email, photographs, audio and video recordings) shall only be held and used by the Promoters for the purpose of this promotion and shall not be used for any other purpose whatsoever without their prior consent.
